Mark A. Waller
Mark represents businesses, business owners, investors, developers, agricultural clients, families, and individuals in business, real estate, financing, and estate planning matters.
In his business practice, Mark advises clients on business sales and acquisitions, entity formation and governance, commercial contracts, financing transactions, and general business matters.
In his real estate practice, Mark represents clients in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, development, entitlements, title matters, easements, and other commercial and residential real estate transactions, including transactions involving agricultural property and agribusiness operations.
In his estate planning practice, Mark helps individuals, families, and business owners develop estate plans tailored to their goals. He advises clients on trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, and related planning strategies designed to protect assets, provide for loved ones, and facilitate the orderly transfer of wealth. He also assists business owners, including agricultural business owners, with succession planning and coordinating ownership interests with their overall estate plans.
Mark began his legal career at a large regional law firm, where he represented clients in business sales, acquisitions, mergers, real estate and financing transactions, entity formation, corporate governance, and contract negotiation. He later served as in-house counsel for a large residential and commercial real estate developer, advising on acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing, entitlements, Department of Real Estate compliance, development and construction matters, and a broad range of day-to-day business issues.
When he is not working, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and children. You will often find him outdoors, whether hiking, biking, or riding dirt bikes. He is also always ready for a Chipotle burrito.
